ISBN – International Standard Book Number

One of the most common questions I get asked is, “What’s an ISBN?” and “Do I need one for my book?” An ISBN is simply a unique number that identifies the binding, edition and publisher of a book. It’s like a social security number… for your book. And, yes! Every book needs an ISBN. They can be obtained at www.ISBN.org.
